Aguathuna Drafting and Consulting Company Ltd. (ADC) is a limited licensed and permitted, by PEGNL,  Engineering company in Newfoundland and Labrador, with its head office located in Port au Port East, NL, Canada.

ADC is permitted by the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL) to offer limited engineering design and construction administration services for roadways, water systems, sewer systems, storm drainage management systems, civil site works and potable water & wastewater treatment systems. In addition, another vital element of our business is our Drone mapping services and thermal imaging.

Professional solutions using drone 4K/HD Cameras and Thermography:

ADC has completed several studies using a drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera to detect buried pipe leaks and archaeological investigations. We did not invent the technology, but ADC has taken the opportunity to step outside the box and use it in a nontraditional way to help solve Canada’s aging infrastructure issues.

We have also assisted in archaeology investigations using drones to map ground features and thermal imaging to find the past that is no longer visible to the human eye. More news coming on these findings.

We are always improving and pushing the limits of technology to find efficiencies and innovation. In addition to engineering and drone services, ADC has entered a partnership with a software development company to produce a Video-grammetry platform that will revolutionize the mapping and 3D modeling industries. Traditional LiDAR is expensive, we are hoping that our new software will provide 3D point cloud mapping and modeling tools using only single camera and drone sensors that will replace LiDAR for 3D mapping applications and also possibly in autonomous vehicles.
